I'm from Schmindianapolis, Schmindiana, and one of the most positive experiences I ever had living in community and doing service work was right there in my hometown, at the Indianapolis Peace House, where I did a summer peacebuilding program in June and July of 2008. So naturally when I struck out on my own for the first time after graduating from my beloved Goshen College in 2009 *sniff* I decided to pursue service and community living. I'm in Madison because I wanted to live in a city (but not a huge one) in the Midwest.
